About Florida Girl Design Inc.

Florida Girl Design Inc. (formally Robin Ludwig Design Inc/RL Design) is a graphic design, marketing and printing corporation. We work with authors, publishers and industry professionals creating book cover designs and marketing materials. We take time to observe and study the book industry design trends by networking with readers, authors and bloggers online and at conventions and book signings.

Robin Johnson is a senior graphic artist and an award winning book cover designer with a diploma in Electronic Publishing from an education based in the computer arts. As a photo manipulation specialist, Robin has extensive experience in photo retouching, restoration, collage and design. Book cover designs are created using custom artwork, stock photography, filters, digital actions, textures and lighting effects. Robin uses masking and digital painting tools to create seamless, unique designs.

Robin has contributed her design knowledge to books for new writers, visited various writing groups and has spoken at panels for book cover design, author branding and marketing. In addition to networking at conferences Robin has worked with several conventions contributing graphic design services and printed swag.  These conventions include Authors After Dark, The Novel Experience Event, Space Coast Book Lovers, Lori Foster's Author & Reader Get Together, Coastal Magic Convention, Authors After Midnight, and Orlando Reads Books.
